AT AWAKENING CHURCH, OUR MESSAGE IS JESUS.
The overarching message of the Bible, from the first book to the last book, reveals one big story – the story of God so loving the world that He brought salvation through the person of Jesus.
The amazing reality of God’s love for the world is the message of Awakening Church. We desire every tribe, tongue, people, and nation to know they were created to love God and be loved by Him.
Romans 5:8 says,​
GOD DEMONSTRATES HIS OWN LOVE TOWARD US, IN THAT WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS, CHRIST DIED FOR US.
When God created the world, He designed it to work perfectly – where everything and everyone fit together in harmony. God created each of us to be in a relationship with Him. However, something tragic happened. Humanity chose to rebel against God and His perfect plan. When we chose to rebel, sin entered the world, and everything changed. Sin caused a separation between God and the people He created. And since that took place, every person has come into the world spiritually dead and separated from a relationship with God. Despite our mistakes, brokenness, and choice to follow our ways, God still loves us. And God showed us the depth of His love by sending Jesus to the world to pay the penalty of sin for the world. Jesus stepped into time, God in human flesh, lived a perfect life, and died on the cross to pay the penalty for humanity’s sin. After three days, Jesus was raised to life by the power of God, and the Bible tells us that through Jesus, we can be forgiven of our sin, reconciled into a right relationship with God, and experience eternal life.

The invitation to know God through Jesus is available to the whole world. God invites everyone to cry out and place their faith in Him. Today, you can begin a relationship with God. You can cry out to God right where you are either in your heart or out loud.
